I guess you could say that the completely displacing fracture of his rear tibia at only 3 weeks of age, has not held him back any ........ at 8 months of age he took Best In Sweeps both days and Best Of Breed over top specials at the Greater Houston Keeshond Club. On the way to his title he picked up a specialty Winners Dog at Buckeye specialty and Best Of Winners at the supported entry the following day. He finished his title at Heart Of America Keeshond Club first day of the National specialty weekend by going Best Of Winners. After completing his title Bentley was shown very limited with only 10 weekends out in 2005, making top rankings #3 in Breed points and # 4 in All Breed earning him a Westminster, Eukanuba and National Invitational invites. In 2006, with handler Wade Koistinen he has continued his momentum by completing his requirements for the Keeshond Hall of Fame by April with multiple Best In Specialty wins, National specialty recognition, multiple Group 1sts, All Breed Best in Shows in the US and Canada. Bentley finished 2006 as # 1 KCA Showdog Best Opp (Male) and #1 Canadian Showdog (Group points). Bentley is retired now, but we took him out to CA for the nationals.
